The Dutch Wadden Islands are located in the the north of the country in the North Sea. There are 5 inhabited Wadden Islands Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog, each islands has its own charms. The most visited island is Texel, its the largest of the islands and its the most easy to reach from Amsterdam. The islands are known for its huge beaches and dunes with great hiking and cycling options.
