Quilotoa Lake is a volcanic-crater lake, sitting at an elevation of 3,914 metres. Around the lake are stunning views of the lake and of the mountain ranges surrounding it. Quilotoa is known for the Quilotoa loop a 40 kilometres trek around the lake that takes about 3 days and passes through small villages surrounding the lake.
