Maipo Canyon
Maipo Canyon is a gorge located southeast of Santago in central Chile. El Morado Natural Monument is a mountain reserve located in the canyon with great hiking trails to Laguna Morales and the San Francisco Glacier. There are also some villages in the gorge most notably San José de Maipo.
