Isla Holbox
Isla Holbox is an island in the north of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It's part of the Yum Balam Nature Reserve and is separated from the mainland by the Yalahau Lagoon, where you can encounter flamingos and pelicans. The island is known for its laidback and car free Holbox village, its beaches and its rich marine life such as sea turtles and whale sharks.
