Donsol

Donsol is known for its whale sharks, which can be seen in the surrounding waters throughout the year.

The best way to experience Donsol is to join a tour. The tours usually start around 6am and involve snorkelling in the sea to spot the whale sharks. It’s quite an experience to be swimming alongside these gentle giants.

The town itself has a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to explore. The local people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and often invite tourists to join in on the local festivities.
